Making a Difference Award!

Congratulations to Amesheca (MeMe) Haskell, RN, MSN!

The CMSA Mid-Atlantic Chapter is proud to recognize Amesheca as the recipient of the Making a Difference Award!

As a case manager at Bayhealth Hospital, Sussex Campus, Amesheca exemplifies compassion, perseverance, and dedication to patient advocacy.

When a homeless patient had nowhere to go because local male shelters were full, MeMe never gave up. Through her tireless efforts, he eventually secured placement in a group home and is now off the streets.

When insurance denied a patient’s medically needed wound vac, MeMe collaborated with her team and continued advocating until approval was obtained, helping ensure a safe discharge.

From beginning her healthcare career as a CNA to earning her LPN, RN, and most recently her MSN, Amesheca’s journey reflects her commitment to growth and service. Despite the demands of raising three young children, she continues to go above and beyond for her patients.

Her kindness, teamwork, and unwavering determination remind us that case management is about changing lives, restoring hope, and treating every individual with dignity.
